Inter Milan
Last season under the old system was a success in Italy as the champion club Inter Milan, all done before under the "Special One," coach Jose Mourinho. Juventus
With Mourinho to seek new challenges at Real Madrid, Inter have replaced the former manager of Liverpool and Valencia, Rafael Benitez. There will be enormous pressure on him to repeat the success of Mourinho and the predecessor Roberto Mancini Mourinho.
AC Milan
There is enormous pressure on other giants of the Italian game, between the city rivals AC Milan, Juventus and Roma who had a serious contender for Inter in 2009/10, finishing two points behind Mourinho's men, but ten points ahead of third place in Milan.
Fiorentina
The unpredictable nature of this year's competition can be summarized in the fact that 13 of the 20 teams competing under a new administration.
