France National Football Team

The football team of France (in French: Equipe de France) is the nation of France in international football. Is sent by the French Football Federation (French: French Football Federation), the governing body of football in France and competes as a member of UEFA, which includes the countries of Europe. The traditional colors of the national team are blue, white and red, the colors of the national flag of France, known as the tricolor flag and the rooster is the symbol of the team. France plays its first official match in 1904, and now mainly plays its home matches at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris. The national team won the World Cup, two UEFA European Championships in football, an Olympic tournament, and two Confederations Cup. After the victory of the Confederations Cup France 2001, they became, with Argentina, the only team to win national titles, the three most important men organized by FIFA. France has a strong rivalry with neighboring Italy and has also historically had a major rivalry with Belgium, England and Germany.

The national team has been very successful in three "golden generation" in the years 1950, 1980 and 1990, which resulted in numerous awards.
